I Dont Know questions the notion of learning and teaching. It surgically alters an English-Farsi dictionary by discarding all its pages except the preface, which functions as a guide (or key) to its use as an instrument of definition and translation. Mimicking the correlating logic of phonetics, I Dont Know presumes that the association of the letter "k" with the word "key" is analogous to the function of a dictionary's preface in relation to its lexical entries. Overlapping with sheets of oversized printed roman letters, the preface is transformed from its two distinct languages into a single, multilayered page of abstract lexical markings.
